Funeral Audio Visual have been helping the funeral industry with AV support for the last 10 years.

Our background is Video production and live event AV support, so we are perfect for Funeral AV support.

We still run KAV productions alongside.  

How did it start ?

 It started with funeral filming, outside sound, outside TV or a overspill Marquee / barn Live TV broadcast so extra mourners can still be at the Church location and watch the service (they love it) then before covid, we started to offer live streaming as the technology progressed. 

 When travel got disrupted and Covid was getting worse and then the lock downs came we had already done many funeral live streams by then, so we were ready for the extra phone calls coming in from day 1. 

We were helping families and just as importantly professionally and not having any 'failed live streams’ to date  which sadly many families had to endure from others having a go. 

Going forward we have continued to ‘heavily invest' in only the best equipment possible because we must give you the best service and the best quality possible. We are evolving all the time. We have invested over £75k over the last 2 years to make sure we do as we promise.

 With this high quality service, we are still 'middle priced’ not the highest and not the cheapest, we are in the middle which means you get our full attention and best services. The feedback on our feedback page represents this. 

Some of our Equipment

Our cameras are the Sony PXW 280 broadcast which cost £7,500 each not £1,250 like the others. The quality must be exceptional 

We bring 3 Streaming boxes in case one fails, others bring just 1 and some hope 

We have 8 x 5G modems using the 4 networks x 2 sets

We have proper outdoor routers 

We have satellite 4G in case the area is bad (we need to know in advance and might need a site visit)  

We bring broadcast radio mics high end

We have backup sound running at same time

We have a backup car 

If it’s a one location, we often have a 'back up person’ in case one of us gets Covid (he’s free £) 

We often bring 2 people on site to speed things up and to cover in case of sickness while on location (he’s  free£)  

We have live streamed over 400 funerals and memorials; we have seen almost everything and we are very experienced 

If myself or my helper cannot assist that day, then we tell you this, we do not desperately go looking for somebody else as this does not end well. (Others try it) just to take your money, this can end in failure and money back after.

Because this is our business and our clients, families and many funeral directors trust us, we must bring the best possible equipment and the best experience so we can work in the background, so you don’t really notice us.

Below is a photo of our “disguised” outdoor 4G kit in a cemetry, we are the only ones to take this much care. (until they copy) which I doubt they will.

Our link works very much like Youtube. Its “Click and Watch” although Youtube is bad reliability for Live Streaming so we use Vimeo instead. Vimeo is simple link “Click and Watch” (same as YouTube but more professional) on any device all over the world in perfect HD sound and video. No fuss from London to the Caribbean

If your friends and family would like to watch it on YouTube later for their TVs etc just let me know and I will upload to YouTube ‘complementary’ the day after for you and send you the new link x
